Bank of Canada Rate Announcement Dates 2026

The Bank of Canada sets its key interest rate on scheduled dates throughout the year, which can influence mortgage rates and overall market activity. In 2026, there will be eight rate announcements, released at:

March 18

September 2

December 9

Your 2026 BC Property Assessment is Here

The BC Assessment notices for 2026 have just been released. These assessments reflect the estimated market value of your property as of July 1, 2025, and are used primarily for property tax purposes.

It’s important to remember that the assessed value does not always match current market value. Properties can sell for more or less than their assessed value depending on market conditions. Buyers and agents rely on recent sale data rather than assessed values when making decisions.

If your assessment seems higher or lower than expected, or if you’re curious about how it compares to recent sales in your area, I’m happy to provide context and guidance. An independent appraisal can also help clarify your property’s current market value.

It’s time to rock the nights away with STYX, Billy Idol, Collective Soul and Gin Blossoms coming to town. Then bring the house down and party all night with MC Hammer with special guest Bobby Brown. And for Canadian legends, celebrate all the hits from Burton Cummings and Colin James!

Tickets

A minimum of 2,000-4,000 general admission tickets will be available FREE with admission, for each show, available both onsite at the PNE Amphitheatre Box Office at no cost and online (with a $3 service fee) on show days beginning at 11am; reserved seats start at $25 – available May 24 at TicketLeader.ca.

These General Admission tickets will get you into the venue but do not guarantee a seat, as demand will vary from show to show. Max 2 per person. *Fair admission is separate.

Please be advised, this concert venue has a capacity limit and, for everyone’s safety, we will need to close the venue once this capacity has been reached.
